United Resin’s Aerospace, Marine, & Automotive Epoxy Resin Systems

Home > Applications > Aerospace, Marine, & Automotive Epoxy Resin Systems
Water-Cooled Diesel Engine

United Resin has a variety of specialty and structural adhesive systems, laminating and lay-up systems, and casting systems, including specialty and structural adhesive systems. These systems meet the requirements of aerospace applications, including the manufacturing of drones (UAV & UAS) systems, marine components, automotive and many other industries. Our light-weight syntactic epoxy dough replaces conventional and expensive tooling processes in either high or room temperature applications. Our light-weight fairing compounds are used for patching and fairing large areas on various substrates.

STRUCTURAL ADHESIVES

Metal Paste with 215 Hardener is a thixotropic structural adhesive which cures at room temperature and possesses superior strength up to 350F/177C. Ideal for filling gaps and bonding materials as this system develops adhesive strength quickly.

High-Temp Adhesive with 210 Hardener is a two-component low viscosity, room temperature cure system with excellent strength at 300F/149C. May be used for repair applications including laminating, injection, and coating.

Uni-Bond 1070 with 601 Hardener is a general-purpose laminating material with a low viscosity. It is ideally suited as an adhesive for laminating and lay-up applications. Clear in color, it is primarily used for gluing up impreg and making clear epoxy laminates.

Flex A Bond with 740 is available in our regular formulation, a sprayable formulation and a paste formulation. A key advantage of this epoxy structural adhesive is its ability to work well with hard to bond materials such as PTFE, nylon, ceramics and stainless steel. This system also works well as a vibration dampening adhesive material. As with all epoxies the Flex A Bond with 740 has very good chemical resistance.

Hi-Strength Tuff Bond with 250 Hardener is a non-sagging thixotropic room temperature cure, high strength adhesive for a variety of substrates including those hard to bond materials such as PTFE, nylon, acetal, and stainless steel. Hi-Strength Tuff Bond with 250 Hardener is a toughened industrial grade adhesive that has superior thermal shock resistance, chemical resistance, vibration dampening and impact resistance.
